T-14 Days (June 5) — Foundation Reading + Long-Range Weather

Calendar: 2026-06-05 (for 2026-06-19 race start). T-14 has passed. Live tracking of remaining items now runs through the T-7 lock list → T-1 sign-off ladder; the checkboxes below are a retro record.

TL;DR

  • Every crew member has read crew_orientation.md + their role playbook by T-14.
  • Long-range weather check — GFS / ECMWF 10-day outlook for Newport→Bermuda corridor.
  • Polar status: ORR cert is FINAL (#US43225) and loaded as the routing polar — the North Sails interim chart is retired.
  • Provisioning + safety prep kicks off this week.
  • Race-week practice schedule confirmed in writing with every crew member.
  • First analog hypothesis drafted from current long-range models (subject to T-10 revision).
  • [ ] Pull T-14 long-range models (GFS 16-day, ECMWF 10-day, CFS monthly)
  • [ ] Note blocking patterns, anomalous high positions, or systematic biases
  • [ ] Draft first analog hypothesis from 09_ai_briefs/weather_analog_framework.md
